Picomole Inc. Resumes its Operations

Moncton, NB, January 4, 2016Picomole Inc. resumes its operations after receiving investment funds of $ 650,000 as well as an additional $ 50,000 from the Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP).  Picomole will now begin a technology validation phase to be followed with an exploratory study to develop a breath based lung cancer diagnostic test.

We would like to officially welcome Chris Purves, (P. Eng.), and Jérémie Gautreau, (B. Eng., B.Sc. Kin.) to the Picomole team.  Chris has an extensive background in product development and manufacturing as well as a wealth of experience in the startup environment.  Jérémie is a young local graduate with a background in life sciences and electrical engineering as well being actively involved in the local startup community.

In addition, we have retained the services of Denis Dufour, Ph.D..  Denis was instrumental in the development of the LISA™ technology and corresponding patents.  Denis will serve as a consultant as Picomole improves its technology for non-invasive disease detection.
